Week 3 of High School Football season

It’s week 3 of the High School football season.

Emporia High will play at Salina Central. Both teams are 1-1 going into the contest.

Emporia High Coach Keaton Tuttle says they will need to match Centrals’ intensity.

Senior Marco Robinson says last week’s loss has been a big motivator for this week.

Senior Braxton Higgins says it will take a team effort.

Kick-off is set for 7 pm at Salina Stadium. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM with coverage beginning at 6:40 pm.

The featured game on Country 101.7 FM has Madison hosting Lebo in a Lyon County League 8-man showdown.

Lebo Coach Brian Hadley says they will need to execute.

Madison Coach Alex McMillian says one key will be to win the turnover battle.
