Police Seeking Help Locating Suspects in Break, Enter and Theft at Carbonear Business

Police have released video and photos of a brazen break-in and theft in Carbonear last week.

Thousands of dollars in merchandise was stolen from Quality Vapour in the early-morning hours of August 8 by multiple suspects in hoodies and masks.

The video shows one person using a sledgehammer to break through the front window of the business to gain entry. Three others then follow the person inside, with the sledgehammer then used to break display cases while the thieves frantically grab and dump items in garbage bags.

Police are also interested in speaking with the owner of a white SUV shown in the area at the time of the crime.

RCMP are hoping the public will be able to help identify the suspects and solve the crime.
